That One Friend: Fake Spring

That One Friend: Fake Spring

Published by Theo Grant on Mar 16th 2025

It happened again – I’ve been seduced by the charm of a fleeting season. The delicate balance of mild temperatures, soft sunlight, and occasional rain showers has rewired my senses in the most enchanting way. FAKE spring has come and gone, leaving me with nothing but an even deeper, more perplexing sense of seasonal confusion.

I had visions of myself in airy linen dresses and strappy leather sandals, waking early to sip my espresso while nibbling on a buttery croissant, all under the warm kiss of the sun.

Instead, here I am – wrapped in layers, trying to chase away the relentless chill that lingers. Sweaters on sweaters, jackets over scarves, scarves over sweaters… the cozy cocooning that only the finest wool and soft corduroy can provide.

But, let’s talk about those silk tanks. They are the perfect base layer for any weather – soft, breathable, and effortlessly chic. No other opinion matters on this front. I stand firm, my fashion heart beats for silk, no matter the season.

The weather may play its tricks, but at least I can create my own kind of magic, one carefully curated layer at a time. Retail therapy has never felt so essential, as I continue to seek the perfect balance between the seasons’ whimsy and my own timeless style.
