Becoming Friends With Color. Yes, Really.
I'll be honest. I am a black, white and neutrals girl through and through. My color usually lives in my lipstick, maybe a bag or a great pair of shoes. But this spring and summer I am making a real effort, and I am actually loving it.
The secret is in the styling. Color in small, intentional doses keeps things feeling fresh and current without losing that sense of self. Here is how I am doing it:
Pale pink jeans with my favorite black tee. Enza Costa Drift Jean in Pale Pink

Butter yellow sweater tied around my waist or over my shoulders. Xirena Griffin Sweater in Butter Yellow

A pop of cobalt on my feet. Freda Salvador Fae Rope Sandal in Cobalt

A soft pink tee with everything. Nanushka Axton T-Shirt in Pink

A rich navy crewneck as my new neutral. Arlo Mott Clarkson Short Sleeve Crewneck in Navy

Neutrals and color playing nicely together. It is not always comfortable at first, but then you love it. Start where it feels right — a sandal, a sweater, a lip. That is enough.
Less effort. More style. Wear what you want.
