Prefall Favorites: Velvet's New Arrivals
We're at that in-between moment where summer isn't done but fall is already calling. The trick to prefall shopping is buying pieces that work now and still make sense once it's cooler, and Velvet's new arrivals nailed that this season.
The Estina Tank
The Estina Tank in Bluegrass is rich and moody in the best fall way, and the scoopneck does all the right things. I'm wearing mine solo right now, but it'll layer easily under jackets and sweaters once the weather turns.

The Esme Jacket
Still a few weeks out from being wearable, but the Esme jacket has my attention. Velvet does a faux suede and shearling piece every year, and this year's stand-up collar and cropped fit feel fresh (it reminds me of how Hailey Bieber wears her cropped shearling, tossed over a plain tee and jeans). I'm eyeing it in Faded Coco, but the Graphite is good too, and it's reversible, so really two jackets in one.

The Betty Blouse
Also in my rotation: the Betty Blouse in Multi. I don't usually do ruffles, but these add shape rather than sugary sweet baby-girl vibes. A leather blazer on top or a cashmere cardigan draped over your shoulders once it's cooler and you're set.

The Gia Poncho
The Gia Poncho in Milk is worth a second look. Gigi Hadid's been bringing them back this season, and it's just as good over a slip dress on a breezy summer evening as it will be once fall arrives.

Less effort. More style. Wear what you want.
