The Shoe You'll Wear Through Two Seasons
I'm usually a kitten heel or flat girl. Wedges rarely make it into my rotation. But the STAUD Brigitte Wedge in Espresso might be changing that.
Why This Wedge
It has all the comfort you'd expect from a wedge, but it's cooler, more minimal, more sophisticated than your typical version (the kind of style loved by the likes of Hailey Bieber and the off-duty It-girl set). I'm loving the espresso brown, it's the perfect transition-to-fall color, and the slim vamp strap paired with the tapered, open-back silhouette gives it a modern, sexy edge I wasn't expecting.
How I'm Styling It
Right now, I'm styling mine with a linen button down or my favorite slip dress. Come fall, I'll swap in cotton or flannel and add a cashmere cardi or crew. Either way, this shoe just keeps earning its keep.
