Assistant Buyer

Position Purpose

Assistant Buyers are responsible for supporting assigned categories and/or designer portfolios within the overall Coco Goose merchandise strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Attend market appointments.
• Prepare detailed pre-market analysis.
• Place and manage seasonal orders.
• Track open orders and deliveries.
• Monitor weekly sales.
• Analyze performance by SKU, size, color and location.
• Recommend reorders.
• Identify slow sellers quickly.
• Recommend transfers and markdown actions.
• Maintain vendor communication.
• Manage assigned buying budgets.
• Identify emerging product opportunities.
• Work closely with Ecommerce and Marketing on product launches.
• Provide product knowledge to retail teams.
