Position Purpose

The Senior Buyer leads the merchandise strategy for Coco Goose and is responsible for creating a compelling, profitable assortment that reflects the Coco Goose customer and brand position. The Senior Buyer balances merchant instinct with financial discipline.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal merchandise strategy.
• Lead market appointments and vendor selection.
• Manage buying budgets and open-to-buy.
• Determine category and brand investments.
• Review historical performance before future buys.
• Analyze sell-through, margin, markdowns, and inventory productivity.
• Identify emerging designers and trends.
• Maintain key vendor relationships.
• Negotiate terms, exclusives, and opportunities.
• Manage and mentor Buyers.
• Partner with Ecommerce on online assortment opportunities.
• Partner with Retail on regional merchandise needs.

Key Measures of Success

Gross margin, sell-through, inventory turn, GMROI, markdown percentage, sales versus plan, open-to-buy performance, inventory levels, vendor performance, and category performance.

Position Purpose

Buyers are responsible for developing and managing assigned categories and/or designer portfolios within the overall Coco Goose merchandise strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Attend market appointments and prepare detailed pre-market analysis.
• Place and manage seasonal orders.
• Track open orders and deliveries.
• Monitor weekly sales and analyze performance by SKU, size, color, and location.
• Recommend reorders, transfers, and markdown actions.
• Identify slow sellers quickly.
• Maintain vendor communication.
• Manage assigned buying budgets.
• Identify emerging product opportunities.
• Work closely with Ecommerce and Marketing on product launches.
• Provide product knowledge to retail teams.

Key Measures of Success

Sales versus plan, sell-through, margin, inventory turn, markdown percentage, reorder success, category growth, and OTB adherence.

Position Purpose

The Ecommerce Director owns Coco Goose's digital business and is responsible for transforming ecommerce into the company's largest growth engine. This person essentially operates Coco Goose's largest store—the website.

Revenue

• Own ecommerce revenue and contribution targets.
• Develop annual and monthly ecommerce plans.
• Monitor daily and weekly performance.

Website

• Own site merchandising and improve conversion and product discovery.
• Optimize navigation, collections, search, and recommendations.
• Develop landing pages and improve the mobile shopping experience.
• Manage promotional execution.

Merchandising & Growth

• Determine which products receive digital exposure.
• Identify online best sellers and partner with Buying on ecommerce opportunities.
• Develop online exclusives when appropriate.
• Partner with Marketing on customer acquisition and with CRM/Marketing on retention.
• Lead website testing and optimization.

Key Measures of Success

Ecommerce revenue, contribution margin, conversion rate, AOV, revenue per visitor/session, repeat customer rate, return rate, site speed, and customer acquisition efficiency.

Position Purpose

The Marketing Director is responsible for generating profitable customer growth and building awareness of Coco Goose nationally.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop annual marketing strategy and budget.
• Own customer acquisition strategy.
• Manage Google, Meta, Pinterest, and other paid channels.
• Manage agency relationships.
• Oversee email and SMS strategy.
• Develop customer segmentation, retention, and win-back programs.
• Develop the loyalty strategy and coordinate promotions.
• Manage influencer and creator partnerships.
• Lead PR opportunities and develop local store marketing.
• Measure marketing effectiveness.

Key Measures of Success

CAC, MER, ROAS, new customers, customer retention, LTV, email/SMS revenue, and marketing contribution margin. The objective is not simply to generate traffic—it is to profitably acquire and retain Coco Goose customers.

Position Purpose

The Store Manager is the CEO of their Coco Goose location. They own the store's sales, team, customer relationships, culture, operations, and overall performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals, establish daily team goals, coach selling behaviors, and drive AOV and UPT.
• Build local and VIP customer relationships and create a strong clienteling culture.
• Recruit and develop employees, create schedules, manage payroll, and conduct performance reviews.
• Understand local product performance, communicate merchandise needs, and maintain visual standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, ensure SOP compliance, reduce shrink, and oversee opening and closing procedures.

Key Measures of Success

Sales versus goal, AOV, UPT, conversion, payroll percentage, customer retention, clienteling activity, inventory accuracy, employee retention, and store profitability.

Position Purpose

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, delivering exceptional customer service, and managing daily store operations. The ASM should be viewed as a Store Manager in development, not simply a senior salesperson.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and coach Stylists.
• Open and close the store.
• Manage daily goals and support scheduling.
• Develop customers and execute visual standards.
• Assist with inventory and handle customer concerns.
• Train new employees.
• Assume Store Manager responsibilities when the Manager is unavailable.

Product Knowledge

Stylists continually develop their knowledge of Coco Goose designers, current collections, fit and sizing, denim, fabrics, seasonal trends, accessories, styling, garment care, and inventory across all stores and online.

Presentation & Professionalism

Stylists should arrive polished, stylish, approachable, and ready to work. We encourage individuality and personal style while maintaining an appropriate appearance for a contemporary fashion boutique. Comfortable shoes and sneakers are welcome when intentionally styled as part of the overall look.

Store Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Maintain fitting rooms, the sales floor, merchandise, and visual standards.
• Process transactions accurately.
• Assist with transfers, shipping, receiving, and online orders.
• Maintain accurate client information and participate in meetings and training.
• Support teammates throughout the day.
