Coco Goose Stylist

Creating relationships. Building wardrobes. Delivering exceptional experiences.

Position Overview

At Coco Goose, we call our sales team Stylists because we believe our role goes far beyond selling clothing.

Our Stylists create relationships, understand their clients, build wardrobes, and provide a highly personalized shopping experience—whether the client is shopping in one of our stores, online, over the phone, or through personal outreach.

A successful Coco Goose Stylist is warm, polished, confident, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping each client look and feel their best. The goal is never simply to make a sale. The goal is to build a relationship that brings the client back again and again.

What It Means to Be a Coco Goose Stylist

Create an Exceptional Client Experience

  • Welcome every client warmly and make them feel comfortable and valued.
  • Learn about each client's lifestyle, personal style, fit preferences, wardrobe needs, and upcoming occasions.
  • Listen carefully and make thoughtful, personalized recommendations.
  • Provide attentive service without being overly aggressive or transactional.
  • Create an experience that feels personal, elevated, relaxed, and genuine.
  • Make every client feel equally important, whether they are purchasing one item or an entire wardrobe.

Style, Don't Just Sell

  • Think beyond the individual item and help clients create complete looks.
  • Suggest complementary pieces, shoes, accessories, layers, and alternatives.
  • Introduce clients to brands, silhouettes, colors, and styles they may not have considered.
  • Understand fit and recommend the right size, cut, and proportion.
  • Learn our brands and merchandise so you can confidently explain what makes each piece special.
  • Help clients build wardrobes they will genuinely wear and love.
  • Focus on solving the client's needs rather than simply increasing the transaction.

Build Your Client Relationships

Every Stylist is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Coco Goose clients.

  • Learn and remember your clients.
  • Capture accurate client information and preferences.
  • Follow up after meaningful purchases.
  • Reach out when something arrives that is perfect for a particular client.
  • Send photos, styling ideas, new arrivals, and thoughtful recommendations.
  • Invite clients back into the store.
  • Recognize birthdays, events, trips, wardrobe needs, and other opportunities when appropriate.
  • Develop a personal book of clients who know you, trust you, and enjoy working with you.

The relationship should continue after the client leaves the store.

Connect the Store & Online Experience

Coco Goose clients do not always shop in just one place. They may discover something online, purchase in-store, text us about another item, and order their next purchase from the website.

Our Stylists help make that entire experience feel connected.

  • Assist clients with merchandise from any Coco Goose location or our website.
  • Help locate sizes, colors, or styles that may not be available in your store.
  • Send clients links and personalized product recommendations.
  • Follow up with store clients through email, text, or other approved clienteling tools.
  • Help online clients receive the same personal styling and attention they would receive in one of our stores.
  • Look for opportunities to turn a one-time shopper into a long-term Coco Goose client.

Contribute to Store Sales & Goals

Our Stylists are relationship-driven, but they are also responsible for helping the business grow.

  • Understand daily, weekly, and monthly store goals.
  • Work toward individual performance expectations.
  • Build average transaction value through genuine styling and thoughtful additions.
  • Develop repeat business through clienteling and follow-up.
  • Participate in store events, promotions, launches, and client outreach.
  • Celebrate team success and support fellow Stylists in reaching store goals.
  • Take ownership of your contribution to the success of the store.
